Ralph Shaw (The King of the Ukulele) was born in Quebec Canada, grew up in England and returned to Canada in 1988 with an honors degree in Applied Physics. A longtime entertainer, he discovered the ukulele in 1990 and along with it, a love for some of the great songs of the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s and the style of British entertaining great, George Formby. Ralph currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia and divides his time between recording, songwriting, producing instructional DVD’s, as well as performing live, and is well-known as Vancouver’s "King of the Ukulele".
